Conceptualizing a Vibrant Hub for Sport & Social Connection

Introduction

The Padel Club (TPC) was created with a simple yet powerful mission: to be a social athletics company where sport and play converge, bringing together professionals, amateurs, and friends. In today’s fast-paced world, TPC aims to rekindle the joy of play—offering a space that promotes laughter, connection, and competition. Daya was tasked with bringing this vision to life in a converted 2000sqm warehouse in Al Wakrah, Qatar. The goal: to build a brand-driven, state-of-the-art padel facility that serves as a focal point for the community, blending sport, social experiences, and identity.

Approach & Results

Brand Identity & Spatial Design:
To begin, Daya’s team explored not only existing padel clubs but also community-driven social spaces to understand how people gather, interact, and grow through sport. The insights gained helped shape the design of a space that balances the competitive aspects of padel with the social atmosphere that makes it a community favorite. The result is a space where users can feel both challenged and welcomed, whether they are seasoned players or beginners.

Bringing the Brand to Life:
Daya developed The Padel Club’s brand strategy, ensuring that the facility embodied TPC’s core values—fun, competition, and social engagement. This identity was infused into every aspect of the space, from the layout and flow of the courts to the design of the lounge areas where people can relax and socialize after a game. The tagline, “Same game, new vibe,” encapsulates TPC’s mission to make padel about more than just sport—it’s about belonging.

Investment & Partnership Strategy:
In addition to the spatial and brand identity work, Daya created an investment pitch deck and strategic concept that allowed the founders to present the project to potential investors and partners. This included both the visual and strategic components, aligning the brand’s vision with business goals, ensuring a sustainable and scalable model for future expansion.

Challenges & Solutions:
One of the biggest challenges was converting a large industrial warehouse into a welcoming and dynamic space while preserving the functionality needed for high-performance play. To tackle this, Daya designed an open-plan layout that maximized the use of space without compromising on the social areas. Acoustic solutions were implemented to reduce noise, and environmental controls were added to maintain optimal playing conditions.
